SDACO County Government Scholarship
The deadline for the 2026 County Government Scholarship is April 24, 2026.
The South Dakota Association of County Officials will award two $1000 scholarships to a child or grandchild of a county auditor, treasurer, register of deeds or their employee each year. The recipient must be at least a second year registered full-time students in a South Dakota University, college (public or private), or vocational/technical certification program.
Applicants must complete a personal essay of at least 500 words on a topic chosen by the SDACO Scholarship Committee, a personal statement of at least 300 words explaining their goals and future plans and include a resume or work history with their essays and application.
